Extra virgin Olive Oil
Free acidity, expressed as oleic acid: max 0.8 g per 100 g (other characteristics correspond to those fixed for this category by the COI standard).
Virgin Olive Oil
Free acidity, expressed as oleic acid: max 2 per 100 g (other characteristics correspond to those fixed for this category by the COI standard).
Ordinary Virgin Olive Oil
Free acidity, expressed as oleic acid: max 3.3 per 100 g (other characteristics correspond to those fixed for this category by the COI standard).
Olive Oil
Olive oil is the oil formed by the blend of refined olive oil and virgin olive oils suitable for consumption as is. Free acidity, expressed as oleic acid: max 1g per 100g.
Pomace Oil
Pomace oil is obtained by treatment with solvents or
other physical processes, of pomace olive oil, excluding oils obtained by
re-esterification processes and any mixture with oils of other nature. It consists of a
blend of refined pomace oil and virgin olive suitable for consumption as is. Free
acidity, expressed as oleic acid: max 1g per 100g
